Mission

Sérain makes terroir-driven tisanes: herbal infusions shaped by where their plants grow and by the people who have brewed them for generations. Each blend sits where tradition, geography, culture and wellbeing meet. We draw on long-standing herbal customs and on the character of a place, its soil, climate and season, and community.

Many of the herbs we work with have been valued in their home cultures for centuries. We share that heritage, but we don't make medical claims. A tisane is something to enjoy, not a cure.

Who we are

Sérain is a small, independent company based in Atlanta.

For now, Sérain is one person. Every blend is developed, tested and brewed by hand, in small quantities, in a commissary kitchen.

Joseph Sherrier is a Georgia Tech student and a part-time barista. He has a passion for cooking, for travel, for plants and the stories they carry.

Sourcing

We want every ingredient to be traceable, and grown and harvested in ways that are fair to the people and land involved. As production grows, our goal is to build direct sourcing relationships with organic and ethical producers, in the regions our blends come from wherever we can.

We're not there yet. As those relationships develop, we'll share who we work with and how.
